Paradise
at Mt. Rainier is absolutely gorgeous in the Summer. As John Muir stated, it's "the most luxuriant and the most
extravagantly beautiful of all the alpine gardens I ever beheld in all my
mountain-top wanderings." And indeed it is!
When visiting Mt. Rainier's Paradise, be sure to check out the Visitor's Center for a map and hit the trails. Most of the trails behind the Visitor's Center are mostly paved and moderately easy. There are a lot of trails to choose from so pick one that best fits your adventure seeking needs and make the trek up. You will not be disappointed. The summer meadows will surely be a sight you will never forget!
You can get pretty close to the mountain if you keep trekking up. It took us about 45 min to an hour with lots of stops to take pictures...how could you not, it's just too beautiful!
