One of the campgrounds we stayed at on our summer road trip this year was the Royal Gorge RV Resort in Ellis, Idaho. It is along the beautiful Salmon River. This resort is family owned and has full hookups, a swimming area on the property, and a little playground for the kids. They also have a hot spring!
We enjoyed the continuous sound of the Salmon River rushing alongside our site. It was such a peaceful setting . We enjoyed our dinner outside that night. It was a special dinner -- we had steak and lobster, and Taylor even decorated the table with pretty little flowers and leaves that she picked from the area. I will remember this day forever 💓
