Blackcomb was amazingly fun. We woke early in our comfy and cozy trailer, ate breakfast, geared up and headed out. We arrived around 8:15 a.m. despite being close by and was lucky enough to score us a parking spot and get in line to the many many lifts to get to the top of Blackcomb Glacier. We were afraid Blackcomb would be swamped with people and we would only get in a few runs and spend a lot of time waiting in line at the lifts, but it was not. Maybe because it was a Thursday. Either way, we got lucky and got on many many lifts and down many many runs. It was a beautiful day - the skies were blue, the mountain had powder and my family was complete. I. Am. Blessed. What a great end to 2018!
